JOIN US FOR AN EMPOWERING AND SUPPORTIVE WORKSHOP DESIGNED FOR INDIVIDUALS NAVIGATING CHRONIC PAIN
(September 10th, 2025)

THIS UNIQUE EVENT BRINGS TOGETHER AN INTERDISCIPLINARY PANEL: A PSYCHOTHERAPIST, A NEUROMUSCULAR AND CRANIOSACRAL MASSAGE THERAPIST, AND A CHRONIC PAIN WARRIOR OFFERING FIRSTHAND EXPERIENCE AND INSIGHT.

TOGETHER, WE'LL EXPLORE THE MIND-BODY CONNECTION, SHARE TOOLS FOR EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL COPING, AND CREATE SPACE FOR ARTISTIC EXPRESSION

What to expect:

  • Expert Panel Discussion
    Hear from a psychotherapist, a neuromuscular and craniosacral massage therapist, and a chronic pain survivor sharing lived experience and holistic insights.

  • Mind-Body Education
    Learn how chronic pain affects mental health, and explore strategies for nervous system regulation, emotional coping, and body-based healing.

  • Guided Art Expression
    Participate in creative prompts like “Pain Needs a Voice” to give form, color, and meaning to your pain through accessible, reflective art.

  • Grounding Practices
    Experience calming somatic tools like breathwork, visualization, or gentle meditation to support your body and mind in the moment.

  • Community and Story Sharing
    Optional group reflection time to share your experience, hear from others, and feel seen in a safe and supportive space.

  • Take-Home Resources
    Receive a curated list of local and national resources, coping tools, and journaling prompts to continue your healing journey after the event.

  • This workshop offers practical tools for navigating chronic pain—emotionally, physically, and creatively. You'll gain insights from professionals and real-life experience, learn mind-body coping skills, and explore ways to express your pain through art. Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been managing pain for years, this is a space to feel seen, supported, and empowered.

  • Yes, the workshop is $25 per person.

  • We hope to offer this workshop again in the future! You’re welcome to join our mailing list or follow us to stay updated on upcoming events and support groups.

  • Light refreshments will be provided (water/tea/snacks).
    You're also welcome to bring your own water bottle, snacks, or anything that helps you feel comfortable.

  • We’ll explore the emotional toll of chronic pain, the connection between the nervous system and pain perception, body-based healing methods, and creative expression through art.
    You’ll also receive a list of local and national resources to continue your healing beyond the workshop.

  • The workshop itself will last approximately 2 hours, including time for presentations, creative expression segment, and a closing reflection.

    We have blocked 3 hours in total for this workshop; the last hour is for optional group sharing and community building. Stay as long as you’re comfortable!
